Wool Landon® Law Clerk Selected to Participate in Joint Metropolitan Public Defenders-Lewis & Clark Law School Pilot Project

Eric Landon, a third-year law school student at Lewis & Clark and law clerk at Wool Landon, was selected to participate in a pilot project established by the Oregon legislature. “Students will engage in various legal activities, including interviewing and advising clients, investigating cases, drafting and arguing motions, negotiating case resolutions, participating in trials, and presenting at sentencing hearings.” New Public Defense Practicum Partnership with Metropolitan Public Defenders • Newsroom • Lewis & Clark (lclark.edu)

Eric has worked with Wool Landon’s litigation group as a Law Clerk since beginning law school and was a litigation paralegal for the firm prior to that. “We are thrilled that Eric will have this opportunity to further develop his litigation skills and provide a service to our community,” said Kathee Nelson, Wool Landon’s Executive Director. “Eric does exceptional work, and we are sure he will be an asset to the Metropolitan Public Defenders’ office.”
